Nollywood actress Adunni Ade recently opened up about her admiration for fellow actor Ramsey Nouah and how he influenced her career. Speaking on Hip TV’s show “Trending,” hosted by KimOprah, Ade shared that Nouah was a major reason behind her decision to leave her modeling career in the United States and relocate to Nigeria.
She explained that a chance encounter with Nouah before her move gave her the confidence to pursue her goals in Nollywood. His advice and encouragement helped her take the leap. Ade shared her excitement about finally working with him years later, describing the experience as a dream come true.
In her words, “He gave me a very good pep talk, and I moved down. From 2011, I had never worked with him. Then, during a film festival, I saw him, exchanged pleasantries, and the next day, I got a call from a producer who said, ‘Ramsey cast you.’
Adunni Ade first appeared in the Nollywood industry in 2013 in the Yoruba-language movie You or I and has since featured in over 250 films. She expressed her deep respect for Nouah, not just as an actor but also as a director and person, stating he is “a phenomenal human being.”
The actress continues to make her mark in Nollywood and is looking forward to future projects with Nouah.
