President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Signing Key MoUs in China and Meeting with UK’s King Charles III

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following his official visit to China and a brief stay in the United Kingdom. During his time in China, President Tinubu engaged in bilateral discussions with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang, resulting in the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Nigeria and China. These agreements aim to strengthen economic and diplomatic relations between the two nations.

While in China, President Tinubu also attended the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), where he delivered a keynote address emphasizing the importance of multilateralism and cooperation for global peace. He also met with members of the Nigerian diaspora in China, where he discussed the ongoing reforms in Nigeria aimed at improving infrastructure and services like roads, electricity, and education.

 

After concluding his visit to China, President Tinubu traveled to London, where he met with King Charles III to discuss pressing global issues, including climate change.

This trip is part of President Tinubu’s efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s international ties and drive economic growth.
